Consultation and Supervision

Clinical Supervision

I have many years of experience providing clinical supervision to a range of mental health professionals, including CBT therapists, clinical and counselling psychologists, psychiatrists, and trainee clinicians. My approach to supervision is collaborative, thoughtful, and supportive, with a focus on developing confidence, clinical formulation, and reflective practice. I currently offer specialist OCD-focused supervision within my private practice.

Professional Consultation

I offer specialist consultation to healthcare professionals seeking guidance in working with obsessive-compulsive and related disorders (OCD). Drawing on my experience within a highly specialist national NHS OCD/BDD service, consultation provides a collaborative space to think through complexity, strengthen formulation, and consider evidence-based next steps. This may include treatment planning, signposting to appropriate services and NHS pathways where needed, referral to specialist OCD psychiatrists for medication management, and signposting to high-quality resources and specialist OCD services if required.

Consultation for Families, Carers and Partners

I also offer consultation for parents, carers and partners who are supporting someone with OCD, an obsessive-compulsive related disorder, or an anxiety disorder. These sessions aim to provide clarity, support, and practical guidance when navigating treatment options. Consultation may include developing an understanding of treatment pathways, signposting to appropriate services and resources, linking families with carer and support groups, guidance around referral to specialist psychiatrists for medication management where this may be helpful, and thinking together about next steps and how best to support recovery.
